OSWEGO, NY — Larry Wight scored his first-ever NAPA Super DIRT Week victory on Sunday night, running up to second from a 17th starting spot in the Billy Whittaker Cars 200 and inheriting the lead from pole-sitter Jimmy Phelps, whose no-pit strategy just couldn’t hold out after multiple late-race cautions. Stewart Friesen gave Wight a run for his money in the last laps, but finished in second with Peter Britten behind him.
