OSWEGO, NY — Tim Fuller claimed the DIRTcar 358 Modified Fast Time Award with a lap time of 20.899 in his Number One Speed Equipment 3rs machine.
“The Slack team prepares great cars for Oswego,” Fuller said. “We definitely don’t come here to lose.”
In addition to Fuller, Erick Rudolph, Mat Williamson, Matt Sheppard, Ronnie Davis III and Stewart Friesen all locked themselves into the top six starting spots for the Camping World 150 on Saturday.
Racing action kicks off with the Gander Outdoors Friday Night Lights Opening Ceremonies tonight at 7 p.m. With 71 cars signed into the pit area, DIRTcar officials have elected to make Friday night a “Triple 25s” night, rather than the originally scheduled “Twin 25s.”

Drivers: Track In Good Shape
Ronnie Davis III topped the time charts in the DIRTcar 358 Modified Practice for Time Trial Order session Friday morning with a fast time of 20.230. Matt Williamson and Matt Sheppard were the next fastest cars with times of 20.261 and 20.279, respectively.
Drivers throughout the pit area were extremely pleased with the racing surface on Friday. Many drivers indicated that track officials and World Racing Group’s decision to hold off until Friday likely made a major difference in the quality of the track surface.
