Super DIRT Week 52 Continues to Build Racing’s Biggest Party at Oswego With New Schedule Lineup in 2024

The 52nd running of Super DIRT Week will set the stage for another historic spectacle with a schedule built to provide the best week possible for drivers and fans at Oswego Speedway.

On track action has been moved a day earlier, putting all racing for the Super DIRTcar Series, DIRTcar 358 Modified, DIRTcar Sportsman and DIRTcar Pro Stocks under the lights – including the Billy Whittaker Cars 200 now running Saturday night (at 7 p.m.). Sunday (Oct. 13) will now be a rain date.

The new schedule also maintains all the fan-favorite events that help make Super DIRT Week in Oswego Racing’s Biggest Party.

Schedule Highlights:
Sunday (Oct. 6): The annual tradition of early load in for eager campers continues on Sunday, before Super DIRT Week officially commences. Will Call and staging campers down Albany Street will begin at 9 a.m.

Then, Lighthouse Lanes (in front of Oswego Speedway) will welcome fans, drivers and officials for a Kick Off Party with food, drinks and bowling from 6 to 10 p.m.

Monday (Oct. 7): For the third year in a row, Super DIRT Week will host a Charity Golf Tournament at the Radisson Green Golf Course in Baldwinsville, NY (at 11 a.m.). This year, $30,000 was raised for the American Cancer Society and $30,000 was raised for the Race to Stop Suicide.

After the successful debut of the Quarter Midget and Microd Mania this year – featuring the future stars of racing – the event returns Monday night in the infield of Oswego Speedway. Feature action for all Quarter Midget and Microd divisions will begin at 6 p.m. It’ll be free for all spectators.

Movie Night in the infield also returns Monday (at 6 p.m.), again free to all.

Tuesday (Oct. 8): With the 2024 schedule adjustment this year, the Hurricane Harvey 75 at Brewerton Speedway has also been moved a day earlier. The 30th edition of the event ­– featuring DIRTcar 358 Modifieds and DIRTcar Sportsman – is set to begin at 7 p.m.

Tuesday will also feature the first DJ Party of the week at the Island Stage at Oswego Speedway, going from 8 p.m. to midnight.

Wednesday (Oct. 9): While the new Super DIRT Week schedule moved racing action up a day, the fan-favorite City of Oswego Parade remains on Wednesday at noon. Several of the cars competing in the event, from all divisions, will parade through the streets of Oswego before going into Time Trials and Qualifying Heats for the DIRTcar 358 Modifeds and DIRTcar Pro Stocks.

Time trials will start at 3:30 p.m. and opening ceremonies will commence at 7:30 p.m. Racing will be followed by a DJ Party at the Island Stage from 9 p.m. to midnight.

Thursday (Oct. 10): The Super DIRTcar Series and DIRTcar Sportsman will then get their turn for Time Trials and Qualifying Heats around Oswego Speedway on Thursday.

Time trials will again start at 3:30 p.m. with opening ceremonies at 7:30 p.m. A DJ Party will follow from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Friday (Oct. 11): The stars of the DIRTcar 358 Modifieds and DIRTcar Pro Stocks will take center stage Friday night to bring the first two main Feature events of the week.

The day will start with Last Chance Showdowns for both divisions before the DIRTcar Pro Stock 50 takes to the track at 5 p.m. Then, opening ceremonies for the DIRTcar 358 Modified’s $20,000-to-win, 150-lap, Feature will be at 6:30 p.m. before the green flag drops at 7 p.m.

Saturday (Oct. 12): It all leads to Saturday’s epic finale.

Before racing action begins, there will be an autograph session for the Top-30 Super DIRTcar Series drivers locked into the Billy Whittaker Cars 200 at 1 p.m.

Last Chance Showdowns for the Super DIRTcar Series and DIRTcar Sportsman will set the fields for the night’s Features, starting at 2 p.m.

Then, the DIRTcar Sportsman Chevrolet Performance 75 will be the first Feature of the night at 5 p.m.

That’ll set the stage for the Billy Whittaker Cars 200’s opening ceremonies at 6:30 p.m. Then, at 7 p.m., the best Big Block Modified drivers in the country will battle for 200-laps with $52,000 on the line.

And the party doesn’t stop once the new Billy Whittaker Cars 200 champion is crowned. There will be a live concert at the Island Stage from 10 p.m. to midnight. Then, a DJ keeps the fun going until 2 a.m.
