SCHEDULE UPDATE: All Super DIRT Week Features Move to Run on Saturday

After extensive consultation between Super DIRT Week officials and Precision Weather Service, all four Super DIRT Week 51 Features have been shifted to Saturday, Oct. 7.

Today’s schedule is still slated to begin at 1 p.m.

“We are making every effort to complete all of the scheduled events during Super DIRT Week, and we will remain flexible to achieve that goal during the ever-changing weather conditions,” said Event Director Jeff Hachmann. “We are as determined as the fans and racers to show Mother Nature what we’re all about when we work together.”

Gates will open at 10 a.m. on Saturday, with a flex schedule in place. The DIRTcar Pro Stock 50, Billy Whittaker Cars 200, DIRTcar Sportsman Chevrolet Performance 75 and DIRTcar 358 Modified Salute to the Troops 150 Features will run back-to-back.

Sunday-only tickets will be honored for Saturday’s event.

The top six starters for each Feature were locked in Thursday night, with polesitters being Jimmy Phelps (Billy Whittaker Cars 200), Mat Williamson (Salute to the Troops 150), Nicholas Root (Chevrolet Performance 75) and Jay Casey (DIRTcar Pro Stock 50).

Should weather impact Friday and Saturday’s programs, there is still the option to run Sunday.
