CONCORD, NC — Sept. 17, 2018 — DIRTcar Racing is pleased to welcome Camping World and Gander Outdoors to the NAPA Auto Parts Super DIRT Week XLVII family. Camping World, a longtime sponsor of the crown jewel event of the Northeast, will sponsor the DIRTcar 358 Modified Championship, now the Camping World 150; while sister company Gander Outdoors sponsors Friday evening’s celebrated qualifiers, now the Gander Outdoors Friday Night Lights.

For 47 years, dirt racing fans from all corners of the globe have descended upon Upstate New York in October for NAPA Super DIRT Week, a week of racing, camping, and outdoor fun with the Northeast’s finest wheelers.
“The camping is a huge part of it,” said DIRTcar Racing Director of Events Jeff Hachmann. “We’ve worked hard this year to make the campgrounds better and more accessible for everyone. Having Camping World and Gander Outdoors aboard is very fitting.”
This year, the DIRTcar 358 Modifieds first take to the 5/8-mile Oswego Speedway on Wednesday, Oct. 3 at 3 p.m. during opening rounds of practice. Thursday’s qualifying Time Trials, scheduled to begin at 1:20 p.m., will set the first six positions of the Camping World 150.
The Gander Outdoors Friday Night Lights begins at 6:55 p.m. on Friday, October 5 with the DIRTcar 358 Modified Twin 25s, which will set the next 24 positions for Saturday’s Camping World 150.
The Last Chance Showdown will roll off Saturday, Oct. 6 at 11 a.m., with the Camping World 150 scheduled to begin at 2 p.m.
NAPA Super DIRT Week will kick off with early parking for campers at Oswego Speedway on Sunday, September 30. Tech inspection for all classes and competitors starts on Tuesday, October 2. On-track activities will begin shortly after the procession of cars through the streets of Oswego on Wednesday, October 3 at roughly 12 p.m.
