Excessive Rains Postpone Saturday Super DIRT Week Events at Oswego Speedway to Sunday
World of Outlaws and Big Blocks Continue at Fulton Speedway Tonight
Due to excessive rain and wet grounds, Saturday’s NAPA Auto Parts Super DIRT Week schedule will move in its entirety to Sunday, for a blockbuster day of racing action including four feature events.
The World of Outlaws Craftsman® Sprint Car Series Kenny Wallace Dirt Racing Experience Saturday Night Special at Fulton Speedway will continue as planned, including the Big Block Modified “Win and You’re In” Feature for the 41st spot in Sunday’s Bud Light Main Event.
Grandstands and vendors will open at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday. Racing will begin at 10:00 a.m. with the Pro Stock Time Trials, followed by Big Block Modified and Sportsman Last Chance Qualifiers.
At 11:45 a.m. all qualified Super DIRTcar Series Big Block Modified drivers will be on the midway for an autograph session with the fans.
After a break for track prep, the racing will continue at 2:00 p.m. with the Pro Stock 30 Last Chance Qualifiers and the Big Block Modified Feature, now the Bud Light 200.
The late afternoon program will then kick off with the Pro Stock 30 feature, followed by the 358 Modified Riccelli-Northern Salute the Troops 100, and closing with the Sportsman Chevy Performance Championship, now a 50-lap event.
Sunday tickets are $45 for general admission, $50 for reserved, and $80 for an infield pit pass.
Parking is available in the vicinity of the speedway grounds, in addition to many local businesses (including Lighthouse Lanes) and neighbors within a block or two selling daily parking. FREE offsite parking is available at the Oswego Highway Department and Scriba Fire Station (two miles away) with FREE shuttles running from one hour before grandstands open to two hours after checkered flag.
